Shipping Methods
Choose How Your Car Travels
We offer two ways to ship your vehicle from Japan. Our team will recommend the best option for your car, your budget and your destination port.
Roll-on / Roll-off
RoRo Shipping
Your vehicle is driven straight onto a specialised car carrier and secured for the voyage. It is the most economical way to ship a single running vehicle.
- Usually the lowest cost per vehicle
- Regular sailings to major Caribbean ports
- Best for standard cars, SUVs and vans
- Vehicle must be free of personal items
20ft / 40ft Container
Container Shipping
Your vehicle is loaded and secured inside a shipping container. Ideal for high-value cars, non-runners, or shipping a car together with spare parts.
- Extra protection from weather and handling
- Share a container with other vehicles to save cost
- Ship genuine spare parts alongside your car
- Suits ports without regular RoRo service
How It Works
Your Car's Journey In 6 Steps
01
Choose Your Vehicle
Pick a car from our stock or ask us to bid for you at a Japanese auction. We confirm the condition, auction sheet and total price.
02
Get Your Proforma Invoice
We send an invoice showing the vehicle price, shipping, insurance (if chosen) and destination port, so you know the full cost up front.
03
Make Payment
Pay by bank transfer (T/T) to the company account shown on your invoice, then send us the transfer receipt so we can track it.
04
Export Preparation
We deregister the vehicle, obtain the export certificate, complete any required inspections and deliver the car to the port.
05
Shipping
Your car is loaded on the next available vessel. We share the vessel name, departure date and Bill of Lading number with you.
06
Documents & Arrival
We courier the original documents or release a Surrendered B/L. Your clearing agent then collects the car at your destination port.
Price Terms
Understand What Your Price Includes
Every quote we send clearly states the price term, so there are no surprises when your car arrives.
FOB
Free On Board
Covers the vehicle delivered and loaded at the Japanese port. You arrange and pay for ocean freight separately.
C&F
Cost & Freight
Covers the vehicle plus ocean freight to your destination port. Marine insurance is arranged by you.
CIF
Cost, Insurance & Freight
Covers the vehicle, ocean freight and marine insurance to your destination port. The simplest all-in option.
Payment
Secure, Transparent Payment
We accept international bank transfer (T/T) directly to Eagle International's registered company bank account, in the currency shown on your invoice. Every payment is matched to your invoice and confirmed by our team.
- Full payment is due before the vehicle is shipped
- For auction purchases, a deposit may be required before we bid
- Bank charges on the sender's side are paid by the buyer
- International transfers usually take a few business days to arrive
Payment Safety Tip
We will never ask you to pay into a personal account or change bank details by email. Always check the account name on your official invoice and contact us if anything looks different.
How To Pay
- Review and confirm your proforma invoice.
- Transfer the full amount through your bank, using your invoice number as the reference.
- Email or message us a copy of the transfer receipt.
